Orme Square
This project involved the construction of a new basement extension to an existing house, using a 'top-down' construction method and a complex temporary works scheme.
The 'top-down' methodology allowed us to concurrently progress the building work both below and above ground, which consisted of a reinforced concrete framed extension to the existing building.
The structural works and basement were secured by way of a competitive tender, with the remaining works, including the new services and fit out, on an open book negotiated basis.
